DESCRIPTION:Join the Nationwide Climate Prayer\n\n\nAcross the nation\, people of all faiths will join their voices together to pray for action on climate change. \nSign up now \nJoin the households and congregations across the nation praying together. Add your name to help us reach the biggest participation yet.  When we stand together and raise up our voices we can have the power to change hearts and minds. \n\nYou can download the prayer here.\nFor 2020 a special treat – go to the FaceBook page of Interfaith Power & Light and pray along with video recordings of faith leaders at 12noon local every day during Faith Climate Action Week! \nApril 20 – Sr. Joan Brown\, OSF\, Franciscan sister and the Executive Director of New Mexico Interfaith Power & Light\, prays Pope Francis’ prayer\, “A prayer for the earth” from her beautiful farm in New Mexico. Download the prayer she is using here\, then go to FB and pray along. \nApril 21 – Rev. Patricia Mushim Ikeda\, Core Teacher\, East Bay Meditation Teacher prays Shantideva’s Prayer. Download the prayer here\, then go to FB and pray along. \nApril 22 – Rev. Susan Hendershot\, President\, Interfaith Power & Light\, offers a lovely rendition of the interfaith prayer downloaded above\, “We Hold this Earth”. \nApril 23 – Rev. Dr. Ambrose F. Carroll\, Senior Pastor – The Church by The Side of The Road\, Berkeley CA and Founder of Green The Church leads us in a heartfelt prayer from the Eden of his own yard. \nApril 24 – Rev. Brooks Berndt\, Minister of Environmental Justice\, United Church of Christ\, prays Pope Francis’ prayer\, “A prayer for the earth” illustrated by beautiful images and music.
